A New Deal for European Emissions Trading - Sustainability Consult was hired in 2013 by the Center for Clean Air Policy Europe (CCAP-Europe) to work on a publication as input to the European Commission EU Emissions Trading System (ETS) stakeholder consultation. The sister organisation of US-based CCAP, CCAP-Europe is a non-profit association based in Brussels focusing on climate change policy.

We edited and designed The New Deal: An Enlightened Industrial Policy for the EU through Structural EU Emissions Trading System Reform, a 42-page document outlining seven reforms to the EU ETS. Working with our design partners, we focused on clarity and simplicity to create a reader-friendly publication which brings to life CCAP’s proposal to mainstream climate policy into industrial policy.
