CropEnergies

Facilitating Dialogue on Bioethanol Sustainability – Together with CropEnergies and nova-Institute, we co-organised the international conference Sustainable First and Second Generation Bioethanol for Europe: Opportunities for People, Planet and Profit in Brussels on 26 September 2017.

Held in the heart of the European district, the conference provided a platform for debate on how different feedstocks should be treated under the revised European Commission Renewable Energy Directive (RED II). By inviting a mix of stakeholders, including industry leaders, policymakers, academia and NGOs, we ensured the event featured a lively panel discussion and a unique networking opportunity.

In preparation for the event, the Sustainability Consult Team oversaw the venue booking, catering, speaker and attendee registrations, as well as all the event marketing. Our Managing Director Richard Delahay moderated the conference. We managed all onsite logistics, ensuring everything ran smoothly from start to finish.

Conference participants praised the quality of the presentations and the efficient and seamless event organisation.
