To launch a new series of video interviews, our CEO Kathryn Sheridan sat down with Reverdia’s President Marcel Lubben to talk about the challenges Reverdia had to overcome to become a leading producer of bio-succinic acid. We also dug into Marcel’s thoughts on the European Commission’s reaction to the ongoing plastics debate and the proposed single use plastics ban.

“We think the latest proposal from the European Commission to ban the ten items washed up on European beaches the most is a fantastic proposal. It’s about time regulators do something about that. And it’s not only regulators,” explains Marcel, “it’s also us as consumers, we need to change our ways. We need to stop littering plastics and start to reuse, recycle and compost plastics.”
